Projects to remember Harry G Hawker
The unmarked grave of Mary Hawker.
When I started my work on Harry Hawker (in 2009), I went to all the places in Melbourne mentioned in all his biographies. This was mainly to verify the accuracy of the stories and for my own curiosity. After weeks of running around on my annual leave, I found most of the memorials and plaques in Melbourne. It was in the search for the family graves of the Hawker family, I found Mary Hawkers grave was unmarked. |

This part of the our projects would be to rededicate the hall "Harry Hawker Centenary Hall" at Moorabbin primary school with a large new plaque on the out side.
